We are taught in church to think like Paul encourages us to...on things that are “true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy”. And hear me, that is true. Although, if you don’t understand the mindset Paul sets up in Philippians 2, or the application of that mindset he describes in Philippians 3, then the 4th chapter becomes you trying to white knuckle your behavior.
